300+ Deserving Children Paired With Officers for Shopping …

Police officers treated some-more than 300 honourable internal children to a day filled with sea animals, selling and Santa for their 24th annual Shop with a Cop event.

Every year, Shop with a Cop pairs an underserved child with a San Diego County law coercion officer to give them a selling knowledge for a holidays that they would differently not get.

For their 24th year, officers upped a ante.

Children started off a day during SeaWorld San Diego where they had breakfast with officers before examination a private pleasant Christmas-themed dolphin show.

It was only a beginning.

With sirens blaring, military stopped trade so that children could be escorted to a Target store on Sports Arena Boulevard.

Santa welcomed a kids into a store before they embarked on a selling adventure. Each child was given a $150 present label to spend on themselves or to holiday emporium for their desired ones. 

Officers wish a knowledge will yield children a certain communication with law enforcement.

“This is one approach that we get to know and rivet with a communities we offer and assistance families reduction advantageous during a holiday season.” Peace Officers Research Association of California President Brian Marvel said.

The eventuality is sponsored by internal law coercion agencies, SeaWorld, Target, STAR/PAL and a San Diego Crime Commission. It is entirely saved by grants and donations.
